Hello! How are you this month?
Welcome to the September wrap up for BootCraft.
The question must really be asked – how are we possibly in the 10th month of 2021 already (or is that just me? Am I just showing my age?! 🤣) Either way, it has been a busy month once again at BootCraft and we have heaps to share with you.
1. Previously on BootCraft…
The drills in August drills have been a collective effort from our team of Master Crafters – a group of trainers from all over the globe who submit a great variety of workouts each and every month. Can you guess what the drills would be from their names?
- Tabata Adder
- Guns Out!
- Zoom On Up
- A New Fitness Test
- Catch Me If You Can
- Extra Time Finisher
- 8 And 4 For The Core
- Twice Is Nice
- Basics 50s
- It’s a Mystery
- 6 x 6 x 6
- You Say It’s Your Birthday

2. October on BootCraft
This month, our drills are again a collective effort from our team of Master Crafters (our team of drill writers from around the world). The first three will be:
- Multi-Level Superset and HIIT – a great method for encouraging your campers to work at THEIR level!
- Full Body Storm – virtual intervals that pack a punch in a short time
- You Want It All – a little bit of everything to please all your campers
Plus 12 more exciting drills, yet to be decided on.
🎃 Oh, and plenty of great Halloween ideas being shared in the Community.
3. Workout Of The Week
WOW – these are one of the new features to BootCraft, and we’ve had really great feedback on them.
Kyle posts these weekly ‘done-for-you’ workouts into the BootCraft Community (the private, online space where our ‘Crafters hang out) and are perfect for when you need a high-quality session on the fly. Kyle explains the workouts for our ‘Crafters in a video, and goes into detail about why particular drills were chosen, how to adapt and what the drill can look like in real life.
Over September, the Workouts Of the Week have included – A New Fitness Test (great for starting a new block), The Crossover (quite a bit of sneaky running!) and PPLC Squares (you’ve gotta be square to be hip).
And with 12 WOWs completed, we have been able to compile these into a ‘done-for-you’ four week workout plan – that’s three workouts per week – called ‘Run, Forrest, Run‘.

4. New Features
It’s small, but mighty!
The little purple circle 🟣🗨 at the bottom right of the BootCraft dashboard is back – and now ‘Crafters can chat with the BootCraft team as they scroll through the drills and resources. We’ll do our best to get back to our ‘Crafters as soon as we can, but we do of course work within the Australian time zone 😊
5. The BootCraft Community
Alright, so I’ve mentioned the BootCraft Community a bit now. But what exactly is it?
Well, it’s a bit like working in a big gym where we get to collaborate with the most amazing group of like-minded trainers.
It’s a private, online community available to all our ‘Crafters – a place where we can share our favourite workout ideas (Matt shared a great face-to-face workout that still allows for a ‘real life mute button’, we’ve had some more Halloween themed workouts and we’ve shared some great birthday workouts).
We think the BootCraft Community are pretty amazing – their generous sharing of ideas and advice adds so much value to what is already a comprehensive resource.
So before I leave you, I’d just really quickly like to give you the link to have a look at the BootCraft information page – to see more for yourself, or to share it with another trainer who you think might like to have a look.
