Welcome to November, which on BootCraft means it’s time to celebrate!
This year BootCraft turns 5, and wow, with everything that’s happened so far this year, let’s not let any excuse to celebrate pass us by.
Celebrate & Win
As part of the festivities this year we’re having a competition and giveaway.
Crafters will be able to enter one (or more) of your own workout creations this year for a chance to win a 12-month free pass to BootCraft.
We (the BootCraft team) will also be choosing our favourite drills from each category to add permenantly to the BootCraft database. There they’ll be seen by hundreds of trainer around the world. Trainers who’ll then use them with thousands of clients. Forever and ever.
We’ll also be giving away small 3-month passes to Crafters who are particularly active in our new community area.
Members can see all the details on how to enter here.
If you’re not a member, well, we’d better fix that. At the moment, you can get your first month of BootCraft for just $1.
More to celebrate
There has been another cool milestone recently on BootCraft too.
We just hit 900 drills in our workout library!
That is huge coming from our original 33 drill back when BootCraft launched in 2015.
I’m also very proud to say that only 261 of the drills are of my creation. Why am I proud of that? Because, thanks to 88 amazing trainers who submitted the other 639 drills, we have one of the most diverse collections of group fitness workout ideas around.
For example, here are the 15 drills we added last month:
- Quality ~ Pulse ~ Isometric
- Tabata and a Half
- Lose Control
- These Little Weights Are Heavy
- RED or BLACK?
- Things Are About To Get Dicey
- AFL Grand Final
- Last Chance Leg Finisher
- Kettlebell Smash!
- Jump, Lift & Sweat
- The Diced Up Pyramid
- Single, Single, Double, Double
- EMOM for the WIN!
- Battle of the Squats
- 3 Rounds of Madness
That’s just about enough to make a grown man cry. Many thanks to Lyndon, Lori, Nick, Liz, Janice, Kim, Theresa, Lauren, Rosie, Roxanne, Kjell, Bri and Jamie in particular for all of their contributions.
Even more to celebrate
This year I also invested in a rather pricey service called Trustpilot.
Rather then spend the money on something like social media ads, I wanted to do something that aligned with the heart-based community-led approach I’ve always tried to embrace for Bootcamp Ideas and BootCraft.
Trustpilot aim to be the most reliable source for product and service reviews on the internet. For example: Even if I wanted to get rid of a negative review, I can’t. It will keep it there so that anyone researching BootCraft gets a full, unbiased view of it.
The response has been nothing short of amazing.
87 reviews have been submitted (which I think is incredible for a tiny niche website that serves group fitness trainers) with an average score of 4.8/5.
So come see what all the fuss is about. Start planning better workouts much, much faster.

Kyle Wood created Bootcamp Ideas in 2010 when he was hunting around on the internet for workout ideas. He ran a successful bootcamp in Victoria, Australia and spends his spare time managing this site, adventuring (or lazying) with his wife and find new ways to make bootcamps even better.
