This workout is an entry to this year’s Bootcamp Ideas Competition. It has been submitted by Laura Zeek from Ohio, USA.
The S*H*I*T Lap
Drill Length: 10 minutes
Drill Category: Warm Up
Equipment needed: Big Oval/Track
How it works:
On an oval track your campers will be completing one full lap around. They will stop at each corner and complete the exercises listed below. As soon as they arrive, they are to start the exercise and continue until the last person to arrive has done 25 reps (or whatever number you choose). They then run on to the next corner and do the same until they have done one full lap around the track.
- (S)katers
- (H)opovers
- (I)nchworms or Incline push-ups if you have a ledge or bench
- (T)ricep Dips
It’s fun and easy to remember what the next exercise is! More advanced campers will get a few extra reps in and your less fit people will hustle up their run so others aren’t waiting!
Note: No track? No problem, just lay out your stations in a large square or oval!
