Rounds or Minutes – YOU Decide.
Equipment needed: 15-20 Boards/Cards, Dice
Time: 60 minutes
You will need a group 3+ people.
Set up
On the 15-20 Individual white boards or blank cards, write out 1 Exercise per 1 board/card.
Scatter the cards/boards face down across the room/field/court.
Method
Choose 3 people from your group:
Person 1 Rolls 1 Dice to see how many boards to grab. They run out and grab that many boards and runs back.
Person 2 Rolls 1 Dice which decides the ‘workout’ – EVEN number rolled is AMRAP and ODD number rolled is ROUNDS
Person 3 Rolls 2 Dice (1 Dice for Reps, the other for minutes or rounds)
Example:
Person 1 Rolled a 3 and ran out, collected 3 boards and returned with 3 Boards: Push Ups, Squat Jumps, and Burpees.
Person 2 Rolled a 5 so the workout is ROUNDS.
Person 3 Rolled a 4 & 6 – 4 Reps of each for 6 ROUNDS or 6 Reps of Each for 4 Rounds – YOU (the Trainer) Decide!
6 Rounds of:
- 4 x Push Ups
- 4x Squat Jumps
- 4x Burpees
(if they chose AMRAP, then it would be 4 Reps of each for 6 Minutes or 6 Reps of each for 4 Minutes – Trainer decides this for the whole group)
Once complete the boards go back out the group starts again.
A few things to keep in mind:
- YOU (the Trainer) decides what number is used for reps or minutes.
- The whole group will be doing the same boards so either make it bodyweight exercises, or make sure there’s enough equipment for all.
- You may have a few of the faster athletes finish first for the ‘Reps & Rounds’ have them hold plank or lunge walk until the whole group is done.
