Main Workout
Speed Pictionary
Each camper is given 3-5 words at the beginning of the workout, ranging from easy to hard. Be sure to tell campers to keep their words secret.
Campers will have 5 minutes total to work through each drill with the goal of completing 4 sets. After explaining the exercises in drill #1, campers begin working through it on their own. At random intervals, I will pause the workout, and campers will have 10-15 seconds to drop to a plank and work on drawing a picture of one of their words. At the end of that time, they go back to where they were in the drill.
At the end of the 5 minutes while resting between drills, each camper shows their drawing to the group. Three people in the group have a chance to guess: if any of them are right, the draw-er gets a point. If no one guesses correctly, it’s 5 penalty burpees.
Everyone then moves on to the next set of exercises and the game continues!
Variations:
- Campers may draw in either plank or wall sit.
- If a camper’s drawing is not guessed, they don’t have to tell what it is – they can keep working on it in the next drill and see if people can guess it the next time!
- If you have a large group, divide into teams and ask a representative of each team to show their drawing.
