Welcome to our new weekly segment called Monday Morning Live where I interview one trainer from our Facebook group and learn about what’s working for them in their sessions and business right now.
This week on Monday Morning Live I had Andrea Laver of Goals and Gainz, based in Ontario, Canada, on to talk about life as a trainer.
Some of the topics that came up were:
- naming your business
- listening to what your clients want in your sessions
- running regular workshops so you can teach your clients how to move and use their bodies better
- why pelvic floor training is something we must learn about as trainers
- when to refer a client to another expert
It’s a great chat and one a I highly recommend, especially if you train post-natal clients or clients with pelvic floor weakness.
It’s free to watch in our community Facebook group, BCI:Ask.
For those without Facebook: I apologise as I know some of you prefer not to use Facebook and therefore can’t access these videos. At this stage they are only available in the group as this is the simplest route but in future I hope to change this and make future interviews available to everyone.
