Three weeks ago I asked the question in our poll, ‘How long are your bootcamp sessions?’
Out of the 197 of you who answered, nearly 50 percent said you run your sessions for 60 minutes. Here were the rest of the results:
How long are your bootcamp sessions?
- 60 minutes (49%, 97 Votes)
- 45-60 minutes (27%, 53 Votes)
- 45 minutes (10%, 20 Votes)
- 60-90 minutes (6%, 12 Votes)
- 30-45 minutes (4%, 8 Votes)
- 30 minutes (3%, 5 Votes)
- Longer than 90 minutes (1%, 2 Votes)
Total Voters: 197

Most of you train somewhere between 45 and 60 minutes for your sessions so if you are just starting up your camp, that is a good guideline of what your future clients will expect. On the other hand you may want to run shorter sessions to market yourself as a time efficient exercise option or you may want to do a longer ‘Super Session’ on the weekend as a challenge to those clients who want to come along.
Personally, I block off an hour for my sessions but sometimes they only take 50 or 55 minutes. In the next few months I am planning to change my sessions to 45 minute program as a way to increase the price and add another session time in the morning. If you are interested in doing this yourself, I can let you know how it goes.
The next poll is about weather, which is a real problem during Winter here in Melbourne. At least it doesn’t snow though!
