It’s that time of the year when things get incredibly hectic.
Schedules get busy with nearly daily catch up and celebrations and last minute gift buying. Clients start dropping off as they too get busy and start heading across the state (or country) to spend time with family.
It’s during this time that it’s more important than ever to practice gratitude and notice the things you’re thankful for. Despite all of the craziness going on, despite feeling like you’re being swept along by a wave of parties (that’s how it feels to me anyway), practicing gratitude is one thing we can be 100% in control of.
Gratitude that you get to run your own business.
Gratitude that people, real people, pay you money to train them.
Gratitude for the friendships that have formed in your sessions.
Gratitude for that one client who shows up each and every session and is constantly trying to recruit their friends.
Gratitude for the park or facility you run your sessions in, that it exists and that you get to spend time there.
This year I’m incredibly grateful to you. You, the trainers who read this site, participate and contribute to the community, pay to subscribe and spread the word. Because of you I get to work from home, choose my own hours and spend oodles of time with my wife and my ever-changing and growing 14-month old daughter.
So thank you, thank you, thank you.
