I knew when I created BootCraft that I couldn’t take on such a project alone. For it to last a long time and to keep getting better, I was going to need to get the community involved too.
It’s my opinion that all good businesses have a strong community where the customers feel connected to the business and the people who run the business feel connected to their customers.
So one of the things I did shortly after opening the doors to BootCraft was ask trainers in the community who loved designing their own drills and workouts if they would share them with the rest of the community. The result is what we now call Featured Designers.
This month on BootCraft we’re featuring Kari Merrill.
Kari’s passion for finding, creating and sharing group fitness ideas is pretty obvious within in just a few minutes spent on her Instagram account. This month on BootCraft she’s curated 12 of her favourites to share with us that we’ll then be adding to our searchable database of over 700 workout ideas.
We’ve got one of her drills for you below:
EMOM Add On
Drill type: Finisher, HIT
Drill length: 8 minutes

This drill is EMOM (Every Minute On the Minute) format. Set a timer for 8 minutes. Boot campers try to complete the reps for each exercise in one minute. If there is time left before the next minute starts, that is their rest. Each minute in this drill adds a new exercise!

Kyle Wood created Bootcamp Ideas in 2010 when he was hunting around on the internet for workout ideas. He ran a successful bootcamp in Victoria, Australia and spends his spare time managing this site, adventuring (or lazying) with his wife and find new ways to make bootcamps even better.
