Create Your Own Bootcamp Adventure
Time: 30 minutes
Equipment needed: Whiteboard, Dumbbells, Kettlebells, Mats, A Wall, Medicine Balls
Concept
This workout is inspired by those old Choose Your Own Adventure books you might remember from your childhood.
The goal of this workout is for clients to choose an arrow to follow after each exercise (see image below), working their way down the board (or sideways at times) until they reach the EQ Pull Ups exercise at the bottom.
The catch is to not bring enough equipment for everyone. If a camper goes to an exercise and there isn’t enough equipment, they must go back to their previous exercise, complete is again for half reps and then choose their next exercise again.
Set a timer for 30 minutes. If campers reach the bottom before the time is up, they go back to the top and follow a different path down. Some people went through 3 times.

You can copy the exercises about or plan your own custom route with your own exercises for your clients.

AWESOME….THIS WILL BE A HIT WITH MY CAMPERS
Loved it. Some made it through 3-4x
Can’t wait to try this today with my campers!! I’ll let you know how it went down!
Due to the rainy weather this weekend definitely trying this out!!
Awesome! How did it go?
I like this but have a few questions. How do you set this up? Do campers check the board after completing each exercise to know which exercise to perform next?
You are so right about making bootcamp adventure, it worked great when we tried!
