Thanks Bri Rauch (you may know her from our Facebook group) for sharing this workout last week on BootCraft as part of her Featured Designer collection of workouts.
Build Your Own Booty
Drill Type: Strength
Length: 30 minutes
Equipment Needed: Dumbbells, Whiteboard (dry erase board)
On a board write 5-8 Burpees that focus on glutes and 5-8 leg exercises that also focus on the glutes.
Have each person pick their combo of Burpees and a leg exercise. They will do 50 of the Burpees and 100 reps of the strength exercise. They have to complete that set before moving on. They can choose to break it down however they like. Every pair they complete gets a point. Whoever has the most points wins. Here are the exercises I used:
Burpees
- Jump Forward/Jump Back Burpee
- 3 Skaters One Leg Burpee
- Lunge Kick Burpee
- Double Pulse Squat Burpee
Booty
- Squat w/weight and Side Kick wearing mini band
- Hip Thrusters w/weight
- Surrender to Forward Lunges
- Single Leg Deadlift
Everyone seems to want “butt” workouts in my group and they loved this one because they built it on their own and yes everyone had a sore booty the next day!
You get what you pay for
As much as I love sharing workouts and ideas for free on Bootcamp Ideas, we save the best for our premium platform, BootCraft.
BootCraft helps you plan workouts faster with the ability to search through our library of 650+ group fitness ideas by category and type and a simple button to save ideas to find them easily again later.
When you find a drill you like, at a glance you can see exactly how much time you’ll need for a drill along with what equipment you’ll need to bring to your sessions.
Kyle Wood created Bootcamp Ideas in 2010 when he was hunting around on the internet for workout ideas. He ran a successful bootcamp in Victoria, Australia and spends his spare time managing this site, adventuring (or lazying) with his wife and find new ways to make bootcamps even better.
