Welcome to October!
Thanks to Stephanie and Lizelle for sharing drills with us last month.
This month we have a new Featured Designer and something new now I’m back running bootcamp sessions again.
Featured Designer: Pat Carr
This month’s featured designer is Pat Carr of Step Into Life Cronulla, NSW, Australia. Pat also writes for Bootcamp Ideas is sharing with us 12 drills. Here’s a little from Pat:
‘I have been a personal trainer for about 6 years now, and have run my own bootcamp business for the last 3.5 years. Over that time I have bought just about every e-book that Kyle (and a few others) have sold, as well as been to a bootcamp ideas training day where I saw a lot of these workouts in action (I absolutely recommend this, it’s a much greater learning experience and allows you to retain info so much better by doing as opposed to reading).
Step into Life is a franchised business, and we specialise in Group Outdoor Personal Training. We run 8 specialised programs, from cardiomax and boxkick, to powerflex and achievit.’
Here’s what he’s sharing:
- MB Intervals
- Increasing Torture
- Climbing The Rungs
- Team Training
- In, Out, Side to Side
- Kettlebell Madness
- Closest To Wall Wins
- Partner Chipper Workout
- Partner Cardio Core Combo
- Burpee Circuit
- Rob the Nest (Variations)
- Killer Hills
Enjoy!
My Bootcamp Reports
For the past 3 week’s I’ve been sharing short reports on what I’ve been using in my bootcamp sessions.
I share which drills I used from BootCraft and what modifications I made for my group. My hope is this will help you with making adjustments for your own group by getting a bit of a behind the scenes look at what I do.
These Workout Reports are available to BootCraft subscribers.

BootCraft lets trainers filter through dozens of tested workout drills, warm ups and finisher with the click of a few buttons. New drills are added weekly.
Kyle Wood created Bootcamp Ideas in 2010 when he was hunting around on the internet for workout ideas. He ran a successful bootcamp in Victoria, Australia and spends his spare time managing this site, adventuring (or lazying) with his wife and find new ways to make bootcamps even better.
