Last month on BootCraft we had a great range of new workout ideas thanks to several previous Featured Designers.
Now this month we’ve got some killer workout ideas from long time BootCraft member, Lyndon Fernandes.
Featured Designer: Lyndon Fernandes
Lyndon has been a BootCrafter since BootCraft first began. I looked it up and he was actually member number 52.
You may have seen his name on here already because he is great a jumping in the comments sections to answer questions and share his experience or variation of a workout idea.
I asked him to send in some of his workouts and he really did not disappoint. If you love simple, foundational workouts that just work, you’ll love what Lyndon is sharing this month.
Lyndon’s story:
I actually started out as web developer. The sedentary 9-5 desk job impacted my posture and I was very unfit. That all changed after attending bootcamp sessions which got me hooked to high intensity training. I immediately saw results by becoming fitter, leaner and gaining muscle in the process. Seeking a more active lifestyle, I decided to change careers and become a full time personal trainer. I’m proud of taking the leap! I’m now able to run bootcamps and transfer on my knowledge and experience on to others who are seeking to lead more active lives.
My number one focus is proving that staying fit and healthy does not degrade as you gets older. It actually improves and my bootcampers are able to break personal records and challenge their limits well into your 30s, 40s and 50s. I focus on a lot of strength training besides the high intensity circuits. Bootcampers work on kettlebell swings, deadlifts, shoulder presses, rows, bicep curls and so on to build muscle, increase strength and burn fat in the process. This results in a lot of smiles, high fives, fist bumps and the euphoric feelings of making through a tough session unscathed and feeling stronger before their actual day commences.
Here’s what he’s sharing this month:
- Abs of Steel
- Jacob’s Kettlebell Ladder
- Are You Strong Enough?
- Share The Pain
- Hardcore Boxing
- Hand On For 15 Minutes
- It Gets Harder For Both Of Us
- Take Your Time But We Need To Win This!
- This Will Get The Heart Rate Up
- My Kind Of Circuit
- Beast Mode!
- Short But Intense
Thanks Lyndon for sharing your drills with us! If you are interested in having your drills featured I’d love to hear from you, send me an email.
I also put together a list of awesome Short & Sweet workout ideas that I love from the BootCraft database.
Finally, the best workout ideas of 2018 got a permanent home so ‘Crafters can check back on them when needed (members check the Feb update on BootCraft).

Kyle Wood created Bootcamp Ideas in 2010 when he was hunting around on the internet for workout ideas. He ran a successful bootcamp in Victoria, Australia and spends his spare time managing this site, adventuring (or lazying) with his wife and find new ways to make bootcamps even better.
