Welcome trainers to the sometimes annual Bootcamp Ideas Competition!
With all of the shifting around last year I didn’t end up running one…
BUT!
This year is seriously amazing so it totally makes up for it.
How To Enter
Contestants will submit one of their favourite workouts in the proper format (see below). Voting will then be conducted by the Bootcamp Ideas readers and our judges.
Successful entrants will be posted as they come in on Bootcamp Ideas for everyone to check out.
To be a successful entrant your workout should follow (at least closely) the format outlines below. Any unusual exercises should have links to a video demo or a thorough explanation.
I know a lot of your write your workouts in shorthand, please expand them into long hand before submitting your entry.

How to Format Your Workout for Entry
Each workout should be formatted like any you would find on Bootcamp Ideas.
Please include how long the drill/workout takes (is this for a 30, 45 or 60 minute session?) along with any equipment required. Please also try to categorize what type of workout it is (strength, HIT, team, fun, cardio endurance). It can be more than one category.
Warm ups are not required but an awesome warm up may swing the voters to choose your workout.
Create subheadings if your workout has multiple parts.
Check for typos!
Expand any shorthand you have used to full length. Acronym’s like AMRAP and EMOM are acceptable though.
Last but not least, give your workout a name!
Your workout will be posted more or less as is so the clearer it is to follow, the better chances you have of winning!
Voting
Voting has begun. Vote here.
Voting will begin on Monday afternoon of March 2nd 2015.
The winner will be judged by both the voting from the readers and by the judges who consists of a select group of trainers (including those donating prizes). Combining the two methods means someone will not just win because they have the most Facebook friends.
The two Lucky Runners Up will actually be drawn randomly out of a hat from the remaining entrants. So anyone who puts themselves out there and enters has a chance to win!
The winner and lucky runner ups will be announced on Monday March 9th at midday AEST here on the blog and on Facebook (I’ll also email you).
Submit your entry here:
Entries close Monday March 2nd 2015 at midday AEST. A maximum of 15 entries will be accepted, first in best dressed.
The first 15 entries filled in less than 24 hours so I’ve opened 5 more entries.
As mentioned entries will be posted as we get them so the sooner you post, the more people who will probably see your workout and get to try it out.
Special thanks
Many thanks to Leon Melnicenko from Unique Bootcamp Workouts and Garry Robinson from Kaizen Outdoor Fitness for being so generous with their prize donations.

If you want to just spectate this competition, make sure you are on the email list so you get access to all of the entries.
Kyle Wood created Bootcamp Ideas in 2010 when he was hunting around on the internet for workout ideas. He ran a successful bootcamp in Victoria, Australia and spends his spare time managing this site, adventuring (or lazying) with his wife and find new ways to make bootcamps even better.
Question about the competition. Can the workout have portions that were not created by myself? I use some finisher games in my workout that were not created by me. Can I include them as long as I credit the site I got it from? or should I just leave them off? probably a silly question.
