This workout is an entry to this year’s Bootcamp Ideas Competition. It has been submitted by Miguel Ángel from Aranjuez, Spain.
A Thousand Sports
Drill Length: 10 minutes
Drill Category: Warm Up
How it works:
The group starts jogging leaving enough space between them, 1.5 metres or so.
After one or two minutes, the first person in the line chooses a sport, let’s say “golf”. Then, everyone stops and start doing the golf swing movement, like playing golf, for 20 secs.
They continue jogging and the second person shouts another sport, let’s say “basketball”. Then, everyone starts doing basketball movements, like bouncing and throwing an imaginary ball, for other 20 secs.
The warm up continues until everyone has selected their sport.
This is good for groups of 10 people or more. Soccer, boxing, swimming, tennis,…they are all good for this warm up!
Lots of fun!

Kyle Wood created Bootcamp Ideas in 2010 when he was hunting around on the internet for workout ideas. He ran a successful bootcamp in Victoria, Australia and spends his spare time managing this site, adventuring (or lazying) with his wife and find new ways to make bootcamps even better.
