Sure, working out indoors has it’s benefits.
There is no need lug equipment around, it’s all right there.
No need to worry about wind or rain with four walls and a roof.
But there is something important that we give our clients gets lost when move indoors. And is just being outdoors.
When the conditions turn sour: too hot, too cold, too wet, too windy, too rainy, too dark, people naturally want to be inside more. But as humans we were not designed to spend all of our time inside on concrete floors. We were designed to be outside, just as we were designed to move our bodies. Don’t take one away for the sake of the other. Give them both.
As you clients want to spend more time inside, it’s more important than ever that they get that 45 minutes or an hour outside with you every day.
It will calm them, it will energise them, it will help them go out and be their best that day.
And that’s a service worth providing the world.
That’s a service worth buying thermal underwear for 🙂
Check out Bootcamp Ideas reader Terry Wood from Sheffield, UK running his bootcamps outdoors in all weather.
Kyle Wood created Bootcamp Ideas in 2010 when he was hunting around on the internet for workout ideas. He ran a successful bootcamp in Victoria, Australia and spends his spare time managing this site, adventuring (or lazying) with his wife and find new ways to make bootcamps even better.
