Wow!
What an exciting couple of weeks.
From our influx of entries to the frantic testing and voting last week.
This year dwarfed previous year’s competitions with 25 entries and over 600 trainers voting on their favourite workout.
Thank you to everyone who entered and voted and tried the workouts and got enthusiastic about the competition. You made it a lot of fun!

Grand Prize Winner
On Sunday, myself and our judges had a final look over the top voted workouts to pick our favourite.
We all came back with the same two workouts that we liked. Both involved some sort of partner/team element and would give a good workout.
In the end, the decision came down to two things, votes and creativity. The winner’s workout stood out in both respects.
The winner is… (drumroll)
Balls, Balls, Balls by Kate Cairnduff
Kate’s workout used creativity, fun, teamwork all wrapped up in a challenging workout. Well done Kate!
We also wanted to acknowledge a few other workouts standing out with a Special Commendation.
- It Takes Two! by Meredith Mundell – Great partner exercises!
- 6 Minutes of Pain by Tenielle Windsor – Great use of different workout methods.
- Go Fast! by Mandy Kinnonen – Great use of a classic card game.
Runners Up
Our Runners Up are not based on votes or judging, instead they are drawn randomly giving everyone who enters a chance to win.
I had Dale Sidebottom draw the two Runners Up out of a envelope to keep things fair.
They are:
The Ehlers and Leslie win 6 months on BootCraft plus Dale’s excellent ebook bundle.
Congratulations to everyone who won! If you were an accepted entrant I’ll be in touch via email this week with your prize and/or award badge.
Special thanks again to Dale Sidebottom, Lizelle Din (who created the award graphics) and of course you, dear reader, for participating.
Kyle Wood created Bootcamp Ideas in 2010 when he was hunting around on the internet for workout ideas. He ran a successful bootcamp in Victoria, Australia and spends his spare time managing this site, adventuring (or lazying) with his wife and find new ways to make bootcamps even better.
